Prayer & Fasting:
Sign up online or in service for daily prayer and fasting.
Word Conference:
Word Conference, March 3-9. Pre-register at whcc.net. These classes are open to everyone free of charge for personal enrichment and can be taken for credit towards a degree at WHSM for a discounted fee. Class descriptions and the complete schedule are online at word.whcc.net.
Pre-Teen Q&A with Pastor Jeff:
Pre-Teen (5th&6th grade) Q&A with Pastor Jeff, March 10 at 9:00 AM. Come prepared with questions you would like to ask.
Time Change:
Daylight Saving Time begins, March 10. Remember to turn your clocks ahead one hour to be on time for church!
WHCC Church Offices Closed:
WHCC Church Offices will be closed on Monday, March 11 following the Word Conference. There will be no prayer that night.
Youth – Passionate Pursuit:
Passionate Pursuit – actively seeking God through prayer, the Word, and fellowship. Friday, March 15 at 7:30 PM through Saturday, March 16 at 6:00 PM. For WHCC 7th-12th Grade youth. Parental permission slip is required. See a youth leader for more details. Cost is $10.
Morning Prayer:
Morning Prayer, Tuesday, March 19 at 5:30 AM. Pastor Jeff will be sharing 10 minutes on a financial principle at the beginning of each morning prayer this year.
Equipped for Life Quarterly Activity:
Bowling at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl on March 22 at 7:00 PM for the Equipped for Life class group, those 18-45 years old. This activity is for adults only - there is no childcare provided. Sign up in service or online. The cost is $12.00.
Equipped for Life Class:
Equipped for Life Class, March 24 at 9:00 AM in the East 3rd for anyone 18-40 years old. There are classes for children 1-year-old through 6th grade and youth Bible study for 7th-12th grade, while you attend this class.
Palm Sunday & Easter:
Palm Sunday, March 24 and Easter, March 31 are great opportunities to invite someone to church.
Carrier Prayer:
Friday, April 12 at 10:00 AM. Everyone is welcome.
Graduation Celebration:
We will acknowledge and honor our graduates during the 10:00 AM service on April 21. If you are a 2024 graduate, please get your information to us online or on paper by April 7 to be included.
Classes for Children & Youth:
We have classes on Sundays from 9:00-9:45 AM, for children age 1 year old through 6th grade. Children are asked to be checked in to class no later than 9:15 AM or remain in service with their parents. Please take your child to the restroom or change their diaper immediately before dropping them off.
We need volunteers in EVERY department. Please see Joy Burton or call the church office to let us know where you would like to get plugged in to serve.
Youth (7th-12th Grade) meet after worship during the Wednesday Service at 7:00 PM. Youth Bible Study is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in the Youth Room.
