Health and Safety Update - Feb 13
MASKS:
Beginning Sunday, February 13, masks are optional at White Horse Christian Center. We are no longer asking you to wear a mask while moving around the building or during worship.
Tippecanoe School Corporation has lifted its mask mandate following a decline in positive COVID-19 cases in our community. We will continue to follow guidelines established in our local school systems and to support them. TSC is still requiring social distancing, contact tracing, and wearing masks on the school bus.
Thank you for being understanding throughout the past 24 months as we have all done our best to keep people safe and healthy in these unchartered waters.
Our goal is always the safety and wellbeing of everyone we serve. We recommend following the basic sanitary guidelines:
o Wash and sanitize hands often
o Stay home if you are sick
o Practice social distancing
o Be respectful of those who do or who don’t choose to mask
We do ask those serving in an area where items are being distributed at gathering points, to please continue wearing a mask and gloves while serving. This includes prophetic ministry, cover cloths during ministry time, children’s dollars, and communion.
CHILDREN’S CLASSES:
We are excited to announce our plan to begin classes for children on Sunday, April 3rd. Final details are being worked out, so stay tuned for more information!
As we are opening ministry in this area – and others – we need volunteer helpers in every department! Please see Joy Burton or call the church office to let us know where you’d like to get plugged in to serve.
Joy will be directing and overseeing the children’s ministry department and is working closely with Jane Johns in this area. They are both looking forward to having your children in class again and will be ready to welcome them back on April 3rd.
