Food & Fellowship for those 46 years old and older, Saturday, July 8 at 8:00 AM.
Communion:
Individually, prepacked communion elements will be available at all services on Sunday, July 9.
No Monday Night Prayer:
Monday, July 10, there will be No Monday Night Prayer. This is the Monday before the Youth Summit.
Youth Summit:
Youth Summit – Rise up! July 12-14. Pre-register at www.whcc.net/youth-summit.
Equipped for Life Class:
Equipped for Life Class, July 16 at 9:00 AM in the East 3rd for anyone 18-45 years old. Facing daily challenges with wisdom from the Word. There are classes for children 1-year-old through 5th grade and youth Bible study for 6th-12th grade, while you attend this class.
Columbian Park Zoo All Church Family Event:
Fun & fellowship opportunity for all ages. July 20 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Meet at the Columbian Park Zoo entrance in Lafayette from 10:00 AM- 10:30 AM. For those arriving by 10:30 AM - WHCC will cover your zoo admission & ticket to ride the train. Visit the zoo and park together as families with friends or on your own. Come & go as you like, being a snack or lunch if you want, parents are responsible for their children. Sign up in service or online.

Morning Prayer, Tuesday, July 25 at 5:30 AM. Everyone is welcome!
Youth Camp:
Youth Camp at Brown County State Park, July 28-30. The cost is $10. Sign up by July 21. Leaving Friday, July 28 by 1:00 PM and returning Sunday, July 30 by 5:00 PM. Parental Permission is Required. No Youth Bible Study on July 30 due to camp.
Happy Hollow Park Cookout:
Cookout at Happy Hollow Park, Shelter 2 for those going into 5th & 6th grade, July 29 from 5:00-8:00 PM with Seth & Jenifer Bates & Jane Johns. Dress to play outdoor activities & hike. Supper provided. Parents drop off & pick up at the parking area at Happy Hollow Park. Please sign up in service or online by July 24.
Classes Move-Up Date:
On Sunday, August 6, everyone will move up to the class for the grade they will be in during the 2023-2024 school year.
Leadership Summit:
2023 Leadership Summit, Church Builders, August 9-11. Pre-register by July 16 at whcc.net/leadership-summit to guarantee meals and group seating.
Israel Trip 2024:
Pastor Jeff is leading a trip to Israel, October 1-12, 2024. The cost from Chicago is $5,023 plus the cost for a shuttle with the group from WHCC to Chicago & back. The initial deposit to secure a spot is $500. This is a physically strenuous trip. You must be able to navigate rugged terrain, steep inclines, stairs, long days of walking, and heat & humidity. Not recommended for children under the age of 12. For more information, sign up and pick up a flyer in service.
Classes for Children & Youth:
We have classes on Sundays from 9:00-9:45 AM, for children ages 1 year old through 5th grade. Children are asked to be checked in to class no later than 9:15 AM or remain in service with their parents. Please take your child to the restroom or change their diaper immediately before dropping them off.
As we are re-opening ministry in this area, - and others - we need volunteers in EVERY department. Please see Joy Burton or call the church office to let us know where you would like to get plugged in to serve.
Youth (Middle & High School) meet after worship during the Wednesday Service at 7:00 PM. Youth Bible Study is on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in the East 3rd.
The Youth room is open for 8th-12th graders on Wednesdays, from 6:00-7:00 PM. This is for those that can drive themselves here, catch a ride with a friend, or be dropped off by a parent. We will have youth leaders at the exterior door of the Youth room at the back of the church to welcome you in! This is an opportunity to hang out with friends. Feel free to bring your homework, bring a snack & a friend! Regular youth class for 6th-12th grade is on Wednesdays after worship as usual.
